☆ Background: Ilios was given up to an orphanage when she was just a baby. She was taken in by her father, Surya Choi, not so much later to her arrival, and raised by him her entire life. The two have a pretty average life, living in a quiet neighborhood. Surya is away on trips often as he works as a management consultant, so Ilios is by herself often, she learned to cook and clean at take care of the house at a young age. Ilios was born with Aphonia, which meant she was born without the ability to speak. She went to elementary school and junior high with others who had speech barriers and would usually spent most of her time alone even with the people who would understand her surrounding her. She had a hard time connecting with others. Ilios usually has to carry a notebook around to write down what she means to say, or stick by Surya to have him translate what she wants to say. Ilios learned to write way faster over the years, which is pretty useful druing conversation. Ilios was bullied because of it by people outside of her school, which damaged her self-esteem greatly.

Ilios was friends with Deku her entire life since their parents were friends since high school. They call each other by their first names. Deku knows a bit of sign language because of his friendship which her. He was pretty much her only friend for most of her life. One day while attending her sign language class, she met her future best friend Ningyō Tetei. Ningyō approached her first because she noticed she seemed lonely, and their friendship grew from there! Ningyō's very protective of Ilios and would do anything for her.

Ilios knew she wanted to be a hero around nine years old when she was unable to save Surya because of her lack of voice when he wasn't looking where he was going and was hit with a car. He only received a broken arm and minor injuries but now has a slight limp. Ilios realized she felt useless then, and couldn't stand by and watch others be hurt. Ilios couldn't use her voice then, so she wants to be useful in some other way. She trained herself in and away from home and after Surya healed, to bulk herself up out of guilt for Surya.

☆ Personality: Ilios is usually very reserved and calm. She's usually very shy and gets flustered very easily, but still forces herself out of her shell. She's usually off in her own world and likes to draw what she feels when she can't put it into words- so she'll usually be carrying a sketchbook along with her writing notebook. She'll gladly show her drawings to anyone who asks, even if she isn't confident in them. Ilios especially loves freedom and adventure when she has the chance to grab it.

In addition, Ilios is greatly sensitive. She can barely handle someone yelling at her and in worst case scenarios can start having a panic attack, crying, or both. She cares immensely of what others think of her and as a result, is undyingly loyal and trusting.  She's usually logical and observant unless her emotions take over and starts acting on impulse. She's honest but keeps her own secrets, though she's too obvious when she has one.

Ilios tends to care for others more than herself and sometimes she goes a bit overboard, sometimes even hurting herself in the process. She cares immensely for her friends and won't hesitate to get violent if they're hurt, and doesn't think about the consequences before. Ilios loves her alone time but gets very energetic when she's with friends-- quieter when with family and in public. She's always the one to offer a shoulder to cry on in hopes that she can be dependable, like a real hero.

☆ Description: Ilios is very short, is fit and slightly more built than she appears. She's pale-skinned and has round eyes with prominent upper lashes and thick blue eyebrows, which correspond to her blue hair that grows yellow at the tips. Her hair grows out at the ends so it looks wavy, a tuft of hair sticks out on the left side of her hair, and she has long bangs that grow over her left eye. She's never seen without her heat-resistant fingerless gloves to keep herself and her surroundings safe.

Ilios loves wearing anything comfortable, she doesn't care much about fashion. On the other hand, she loves buying earrings, especially chain earrings and ones inspired from Korean fashion. If she's not doing anything special, it's always an oversized sweater and shorts. She dislikes showing too much skin and extremely tight clothing, and her absolute favorites are overalls.

☆ Description: Ilios has the ability to harness the electricity from her body and outside sources to manipulate it around the surface of her body, creating heat. She melts and shapes objects with her hands most often, since getting your hands on someone during a fight is difficult. Ilios usually uses her quirk recklessly, so she often tires herself out and passes out if she's gone overboard. Sometimes, not very often, she'll realize she's overworking herself and instead relies on brute strength. The part of her body she's heated up is visible, because the area begins begins to smoke a bit and turn red.

☆ Moves:

Liquefy: Ilios transfers electricity in her body to her hands, and presses her hands against an object to make it melt. Depending on her current strength and the material, it takes a bit of time.

Mold: Ilios manipulates what she's melted. In a fight, most often it's a shield or a weapon she can throw.

Heat: With enough energy, Ilios heats up her entire body, whatever touches her will melt or burn. She only uses this in emergency situations, because she always passes out for a hot while after use.

Her heat can melt nearly any material.

She can re-mold whatever she's molded back to it's original shape, and it takes slightly less energy to do so.

When using it, her physical strength is heightened, and when channeling electricity to her feet, her speed is heightened.

☆ Drawbacks:

Overusing her quirk starts MELTING HER BONES. She can be healed but it's extremely dangerous for her body.

Though her skin can take the heat, it can't take the heat of things she's melted, giving her the burns on her hands.

She passes out pretty easily after using energy and uses her quirk recklessly.

The heat can melt any material, but melting material with more density and stronger build takes time, and who wants to waste time?

Wherever she's heated up turns red and smokes, so it's easy to nullify her.

Heat Resistant Gloves and Boots: Her Gloves and boots are made of heat resistant material, mostly for the purpose of them having to not constantly be replaced.

Electricity Storage: Her large gloves that go from her elbows and to her knuckles can store some electricity, so she doesn't have to strain her body until it runs out.

Tool Belt: A belt that she can simply use to hold her molded weapons for safe keeping.

Family:

Father: Surya Choi - Ilios's only current family is her adoptive father Surya. Surya was always there for her, and always listens to her if she wants to speak to him about anything. Surya had been taught sign language at a young age, so he has no problem understanding it. Surya works as a management consultant, so he's often away from home. It saddens Ilios a bit but knows he's providing.

Aunt: Hanako Choi - Surya's sister and pro-hero teaching at another school. She's often busy and the Ilios doesn't see her much, but still sppreciates when Hanako takes time out of her day to spend yime with her. Though Hanako doesn't do much physical fighting due to her quirk, she teaches Ilios everything she knows.

Pets: Pochi - Pochi is a Shiba dog given to Ilios when she was four when her quirk arised. Surya almost always takes Pochi on his business trips so it can get really lonely for Ilios sometimes.

Friends:

Ningyo Tetei - Ningyo's been Ilios's best friend since junior high. Because of her own situation at home, she practically lives with Ilios. She has her own space in the closet, a place to sleep, even Surya calls her his second daughter.

Midoriya Izuku - Because their parents are friends, they've known each other for probably their entire lives. Ilios got bullied a bit by Bakugou when encouraging Deku to become a hero, but Ilios stuck with Deku.

Yaoyozoru Momo - Momo knows sign because SHE SMART. Ilios loves talking to her and looks up to her as a person, and is known to hide behind her when she gets scared.

Todoroki Shoto - After accidentally overhearing Deku and Todoroki's conversation, she decided to go out of her way to become friends with him. It wasn't too hard after the sports festival, and their friendship started. He likes watching her draw, and she likes just being able to speak with him.

Koji Koda - They both know sign and can easily talk to each other. They became good friends in a short amount of time. Since Ilios loves animals, they always have something to talk about.

Kirishima Ejirou - Ilios prefers to be around happy-go-lucky people! She and Kiri are workout buddies and he's really helped her with her self-esteem.

Denki Kaminari - Thinks he's weird and a doof, but his bluntness somehow got the two to be friendly. They can never really fight each other since Ilios can absorb electricity from outside sourced.

Sero Hanta - The two are surprisingly close, Ilios even considers him a brother. They met during middle school completely at random when they were walking home late from their respective schools. A run-in with a villian and the both of them fighting sparked their friendship.

Mina Ashido - Since Mina doesn't know boundaries, hugging Ilios constantly wad all that was needed to become friends. Ilios had no idea that she was touch-starved until Mina and Mine's able to give Ilios all the affection in the world.

Love Interest: Bakugou Katsuki 

Ilios knew Bakugou a bit before they began UA, because her father met his mother at a bar and the families wanted to have dinner together. When getting to know him at first, she was irked by his explosive behavior but extremely impressed when he fought. She decided to try and befriend him, because that's who she is, trying to make bonds with the unthinkable. Obviously, Bakugou was not at all into it.

Ilios befriended her classmates and grew fond of Bakusquad, who weren't afraid to annoy Bakugo. She realized her feelings for him during the final exams, in awe of his determination. It began as a mix of of admiration and annoyance of him, then turned into something more. Honestly, she thought she was insane for feeling any positive emotion towards him, but she couldn't help but feel drawn to him, for a strange reason, but knew she'd never confess. When he was kidnapped, she was terrified and relied on Kirishima for emotional support, as he knew her feelings for him.

She tried brushing it off thinking he obviously wouldn't like her back, and then was lovestruck by Mirio. Ningyo noticed the changes in Bakugou and immediately knew what was up, then annoying him to no end about it. Bakugou kept on denying it even though Ningyō knew better. Ilios was oblivious to all of it and still held a fat crush on Mirio.

Ilios (イリオス) or hḗlios is a an Ancient Greek word for sun or sunlight. Choi (チョイ) (최) is a common Korean surname. In English speaking countries, it's anglicized as Choi and sometimes Choe.

If she feels too much embarrassment or anger, her hands and face will start literally growing hot and smoking.

She attends and visits sign language schools and classes after school on Tuesdays and Thursday.

She always wears short blue heat-resistant gloves in public.
