Duchess

A hybrid of a black panther, stag and kirin, though mostly just calls herself a sphinx. Duchess is the ruler of a small tribe in the desert that was heading down a dark path from its previous ruler. The way how Duchess became the current ruler is quite debated for some and easily leads to fights, though many do like her and believe she saved tribe from doom.

It's not really known what her past was like or what her true personality is like, but she's is often as described as a mischievous creature by those who oppose her and the ones for her describe her as a kind soul who will help anyone within the community. 

Duchess also dabbles in a bit of magic; her magic mostly consists of finding hard to locate water sources, sand bending and knowing spells to prevent heatstroke and hallucinations while she or others are in the desert. It is unknown if she knows any other forms of magic besides those three.
