As a child, he was outcasted by his fellow avian and winged beings because of his lack there of. His loneliness lead to his bitterness, bottling up his emotions. He didn’t want to be seen as weak by them, but ended up having out bursts of extreme emotion. This and his prickly nature had people avoid him, adding to the public assumption that he is a dangerous freak. He is VERY insecure about his lack of wings. His family took a lot pride in their avian heritage and he was the only one that couldn’t live up to the hype. But now that he is an adult,trying to better himself. Icarus, along with that, tends to be very affectionate with friends, and opens up his ‘true’ self. He tries to keep it on the down low bc he doesn’t wanna be seen as clingy and have others leave him again.

Relationships:
- Xavier - His one and only best friend. Hell, even more than that. Their bond is connected by the soul and they would take a bullet for each other. They often hang out with each other and practically live with each other considering how much Xavier visits Icarus. Although, throughout the years, Icarus has felt a yearning for something more. He as always seen him as a funny, charming, and overall goofball of a person but - he was kinda head over heals for this nerd.
- Lindsey- Like a second mother figure! She basically helps him out whenever she has the time and money whenever Icarus’ mother is ill or just out of it. They have a very playful, family thing goin on.
- Grimbelle - That One Lesbian Friend TM. A drinking buddy and has a pretty good bond with her. Though he’d like to know more about her and her interests.
