Description
A shy and anxious boy. He is easily overwhelmed by things around him and has sensory processing issues. Despite this he does fairly well in school, though he has very few friends if any. He is a classical definition of a pessimist, and tends to have panic attacks at things most people would call inconsequential. 

He still considers Madison his friend, despite everything that has happened between them. Even when he was a toddler he relied on Madison to be his anchor through his panic attacks, but after she stopped replying to him he's been more anxious than ever.

Setting
Johan and Madison are two normal people with only slightly above normal intelligence. However, both of their shadows were swapped at birth, and they are able to communicate with each other through their shadows despite living on two entirely different continents. They talked to each other when they were little, but after people shunned them for speaking strangely to themselves, they stopped communicating with each other about 10 years ago. Now, due to recent events, Johan finds himself pursued by some organization interested in his "esper" powers, and he has no choice but to ask Madison for her help.
