Chinatown - Shakey Graves

Twin brother to the Throne of Moths queen, Umorin is a surprisingly high ranked male drow who serves as the military leader in his clan. Despite being a hardboiled and noble soldier for his sister's whims, he is secretly a traitor to his own clan, selling them out for as little as an extra drink when the mood is right under the guise of the mysterious "Dogwood Dancer".

Everyone in the drowish clanships know about Spidola, the mighty drow queen of the Throne of Moths but very few know about her twin brother Umorin. Despite being born on the same day their lives were like the splitting branches of a tree. Spidola, being a female born to a noble drowish woman, was pampered and taught to seize greatness at any possible opportunity. Umorin, being male and therefor "worthless" at birth was treated like her servant and taught the necessaries of caring for and protecting her. Despite their vastly different roles in life, Umorin was no less ambitious or vicious then his sister. While she was taught to take power via magic and brute will directly, Umorin cleverly learned how to use his cunning and position in the shadows to his advantage. While she went off to become an oracle, he earned his dues in the drowish wars and gained political ties that would later mark him as a traitor. While she became the mystic matron mother of their clan he proved his worth with a sword and pen until she eventually made the bold move to invite him into her palace, becoming the first Matron Mother to give a high ranked position to a male. He became her head royal guard, the first male drow ever in charge of training her most important soldiers and organizing her armies while she was none the wiser to his treachery.
Now, Umorin is known as a proud elvish lord. In high societies where he spends most of his time he is revered as a loyal and cut throat officer of the throne who staunchly fulfills his queen's desires with an occasionally sadistic flair. To the common people, however, he is a sloppy drunk with an unfortunate disposition towards kindness and an odd penchant for exotic dancing. Even further, to the black markets Umorin is a source of both coveted information and riveting performances as "The Dogwood Dancer"-a mysterious wisp of a drow who can bring even a grown Goliath to his knees with the stories his performances tell. Umorin lives on the edges of many lives, not specifically entrenched in any one way of life and not specifically looking for anything in return. One day he wishes to have a clan of his own but he also simply wishes to settle down with a kind drow who can look past his callouses and pamper him beyond want or need. In short, Umorin is a drow of many things with almost nothing to call his own except for the status he so freely gambles with.

Racist | Arrogant | Ambitious | Self Effacing | Intelligent | Patient | Silver-tongued | Cunning | Manipulative | Sadistic | Shameless | Flirty | Kind | Longing | Romantic | Risk taker | Traitor (disloyal)

Umorin is your typical drow. He's racist, thinking himself superior then any other race and too ambitious for his own good. Still, being a male drow, he was taught humility at a young age and is intelligent enough not to overtly take what he wants, instead using a patient silver-tongue and his cunning to manipulate others in to giving him what he wants. Violence and sadism do get him a lot but when the social hierarchy blocks him and his silver-tongue turns to lead he's also shameless enough to down the cheap robes of a dancer and flirt his way into a better place. When he's drunk and free of social status it's apparent that he's actually a kind if not longing individual. He has the heart of a true romantic and wants nothing more then to be coddled but, due to his situation and all that he was taught to rely on can only let this side loose in a risky and forbidden matter. Maybe that's why he's so prone to taking risks and seems almost eager to risk his entire life style for the sake of treachery.

Servant
His butler, Umorin was charged with killing this drow's previous master and at the end of it the servant begged for a new master. Umorin low key is crushing HARD for this little drow but refuses to say anything as he figures this is a working relationship and anything above that would be... improper
Ba'al
Umorin was theoretically in charge of training Ba'al however, as soon as that sweet little boy was infront of Spidola's eyes she took direct charge of training him. This was alright with Umorin who felt nothing (except for slight jealousy) towards the kid and still doesn't hold a high opinion either way.
Spidola
Umorin's fraternal twin sister. Spidola never paid much attention to him growing up as she simply took him for granted. She does think of him fondly but Umorin has many fond memories of her asking who he was again before being ordered to get her another slice of cake :)

-Known as the dogwood dancer because, from far away, he is an exquisite beauty but up close he reeks with the stench of his dripping red ledger.
-Very conscious of his appearance, he's middle aged but looks much younger due to constant spells and cantrips he uses to make him look more pretty AHILSDKNF
-Spent a lot of time with the desert drows (Thyre's clan) when he was a young man. That is where he did most of his service as a foot soldier and when he learned about both exotic dancing and treachery.
-Many people don't realize he's spidola's brother as neither of them bring it up or act like it. This is an advantage both politically and socially for both of them. It also makes it easier for Umorin to sell her out since he can be bitter and whine about how she doesn't care about him.
-Most of the secrets he gives away are lies, worthless, or about clans other then his own. Although he likes to make believe that he's a traitor (and he is) he mainly goes to the black markets to dance and drink in excess. The information he shares is given for no reason other then to collect secrets of his own. It's part of why he's such a good military leader-he legit knows what the enemies are planning thanks to the skimpy clothing he wears during the day and the fact that no one would dare to think he was the dog wood dancer.
-Being a typical drow, romance for him SHOULD be about a woman claiming him, stepping on him, and suddenly... wow he's lucky enough to be married. For many years he considered that the end all be all of romance but then he realized that he really just wants to be taken care of. He wants a lover who will care for him and value him with out being told to. Umorin, with his work as an exotic dancer, knows how someone can be ordered to provide a loving embrace but he doesn't consider that actual love. This is a two way street, he also wants to spoil someone in turn, he wants a passionate love in which they truly care for each other both need wise and emotionally. He has his eyes set on his servant for this particular reason but is afraid to say anything due to status.
-He is very good at cooking, cleaning, and taking care of the house etc but he often tells his servant to do it so that he can make believe he is loved because he's now a Big Boy High Drow (and it also gives his servant a purpose instead of just lounging all day).
