As a child Vence was more of a fragile little boy. Often scared of the magical creatures and shadows around him, hiding behind her twin sister all the time. He was ill and got taught at home by private teachers. His sister was away from home pretty much so he felt pretty alone until one night his uncle brought Reve home with him. He found him on a illegal magical auction and when Vence saw him, he plead his uncle until he gave the globe to him. Since then Vence took really good care of him and they got really good friends. Both don't like to be alone, so Reve still cheers him up wherever he can and if Vence is working late he always stays by his side drawing or singing.
