Profile
Sedaius is a sarcastic, witty charmer that likes to talk his way out of problems and often speaks louder than he can fight. A cunning thief and a charismatic foe, he has a profound sense of humor as well as a tendency to smooth talk his way out of things.
Sedaius was born in Solstheim in 4E 96 and survived a life of poverty due to the Red Year's effects alongside his parents and brother. There, he found a skill in thievery while trying to help his family survive - something that did get him into trouble once or twice. After the mine fully dried up, Sedaius and his brother moved to Skyrim, living in Solitude for a short period of time before Sedaius travelled off by himself through the continent, eventually ending up in Windhelm..
Life in Skyrim
Windhelm was no easy place to live, Sedaius hiding in the slums that the Dunmer were forced into and bonding with the others through their shared struggle (particularly the shopkeep Revyn Sadri, who let him stay in the store). Following the rise of Ulfric Stormcloak, he quickly moved to Riften, hearing rumors of a Thieves Guild there. He successfuly made his way to joining the Guild and, after being in it for years, he now is a well-respected member and is trying to help the Guild pull through its rough patch. Following Mercer's deceit and death, Karliah became guildmaster, Sedaius declining to become a Nightingale.
- Despite the harsh life, Sedaius learned to love Raven Rock, his favorite spot being The Retching Netch and Teldryn Sero being a close friend.
- Sedaius identifies as bisexual.
- Magic is not a strong suit for him whatsoever. He focuses on stealth and melee combat.
- Sedaius has a slight fear of vampires, but surely those don't exist on the Skyrim continent.
- He is 105 years old, or around 28 human years.
Revyn Sadri - lover
"Sedaius has had a wide share of flings, though after spending time in Windhelm, he fell in love with the other Dunmer and would often help around the shop. Although Sedaius stays with the Thieves Guild in Riften, he makes sure to visit frequently, and the store is the closest thing he has to a home."
Teldryn Sero - friend
"Teldryn and Sedaius met in Raven Rock due to both frequenting the taverns and quickly became friends. Often would they work jobs together - though Sedaius really never understood Teldryn's constant privacy behind his chiton helmet."
Brynjolf - boss
"Brynjolf is the one who recruited Sedaius after nearly being pickpocketed himself by the man. Admiring his skill, he offered Sedaius to join the Thieves Guild - an offer Sedaius immediately took without hesitation."
