The Story so far
Left by their parents for reasons unknown, Roldos and her twin sister Muzu were raised in an orphanage. Being the only Tiefling children in the narrow-minded enviroment of a small village, they were never adopted. Rather, they lived their entire lives there & considered the kind owners of the orphanage to be their parents. They were (& still are) very self-reliant & kept mostly to themselves, the two being nearly inseparable. They both also worked for the orphanage, taking care of the younger children, cleaning around the home, & in general trying to pick up any extra slack in the hopes of showing their appreciation for their newfound family. But they were most loved for the duets they would preform together-- Roldos singing & playing her lute & Muzu playing the flute. Though Muzu was quite content with this simple life, Roldos did not share the sentiment. Feeling a lack of fufillment, she longed for performing on stages, the masses falling in love with her charm & music & showering her in riches for her unparalled talent. As she daydreamed for fame her sister would often scold her for not appreciating what she has, a thing they often got into quarrels about.
In the matter of just one fateful afternoon, the entire village was pillaged & burned down by an army of marauders. In the midst of the chaos Roldos had no choice but to hide for her life. After the raid ceased, all she could find was Muzu's torn, blood-stained cape among the charred debris that was once the orphanage. Not a soul in sight besides herself, a handful of other survivors & an overwhelming amount of unmoving bodies. She had not only lost what she could call her only home, but her sister, too. This happened not long after turning 19, & since the attack she has been traveling the lands alone, continuing to perform in the towns she passes through. As the years have passed she has made quite the name for herself, for better or worse, & is getting a taste of the sweet life she has so desperately longed for as a child... & Yet finds herself homesick for a place that no longer exists.

Skills
By Popular Demand
You can always find a place to perform, usually in an inn or tavern but possibly with a circus, at a theater, or even in a noble’s court. At such a place, you receive free lodging and food of a modest or comfortable standard (depending on the quality of the establishment), as long as you perform each night. In addition, your performance makes you something of a local figure. When strangers recognize you in a town where you have performed, they typically take a liking to you.
Bardic Inspiration
You can inspire others through stirring words or music. To do so, you use a bonus action on your turn to choose one creature other than yourself within 60 feet of you who can hear you. That creature gains one Bardic Inspiration die, a d6. Once within the next 10 minutes, the creature can roll the die and add the number rolled to one ability check, attack roll, or saving throw it makes. The creature can wait until after it rolls the d20 before deciding to use the Bardic Inspiration die, but must decide before the DM says whether the roll succeeds or fails. Once the Bardic Inspiration die is rolled, it is lost. A creature can have only one Bardic Inspiration die at a time.
Song of Rest
You can use soothing music or oration to help revitalize your wounded allies during a short rest. If you or any friendly creatures who can hear your performance regain hit points at the end of the short rest by spending one or more Hit Dice, each of those creatures regains an extra 1d6 hit points.
Cutting Words
You learn how to use your wit to distract, confuse, and otherwise sap the confidence and competence of others. When a creature that you can see within 60 feet of you makes an attack roll, an ability check, or a damage roll, you can use your reaction to expend one of your uses of Bardic Inspiration, rolling a Bardic Inspiration die and subtracting the number rolled from the creature’s roll. You can choose to use this feature after the creature makes its roll, but before the DM determines whether the attack roll or ability check succeeds or fails, or before the creature deals its damage. The creature is immune if it can’t hear you or if it’s immune to being charmed.
Summary
Roldos has a pear body shape, with warm brown skin & vitiligo across her entire body. Her curly black hair is cut short on top & long in the back, with a few bits of white in her bangs from her vitiligo. Her eyes are a soft pink, but when she's angry they almost seem to be on fire. As a Tiefling, she has a small tail & small horns, both of which she keeps well hidden, as well as long, sharp canine teeth, which are not as easy to conceal to her dismay. Her pointed ears are pierced twice, as well as her septum. Despite her short stature she has a huge, flamboyant personality, & she carries herself very confidently, usually standing tall & commanding the whole room when she talks. The only times she gets quiet is when she's distressed or being sneaky -- she has a bit of a reputation for being a prankster.
She's sweet, kind-hearted & radiant. She's mostly good-natured, but rarely can she turn down the opportunity to joke or play tricks. Despite the pranks, it's hard for anyone to stay angry at her or around her for very long, as she can defuse any amount of tension with her dashing charm. This allows her to get out of sticky situations -- well, sometimes at least. As a skilled entertainer she's able to capture and hold an audience's attention with ease. Being very confident herself, she tends to butt-heads with people who also have forceful personalities. Along with being stubborn she has a tendancy to be a bit too lose with her words -- her sharp tongue lands her in trouble often & she's not very good at keeping secrets.
Extra!
✦She's always seen wearing Muzu's cape. Though it's nowhere near the mint condition it was in before the fire, she takes obsessively good care of it
✶Along with Muzu's cape, her lute is one of her most treasured possessions. Tragically it is not the same one she had during her time in the orphanage, & for some reason it doesn't play as good... But she makes do
✦Despite her best efforts, she can still seem to be unreliable to her friends. She's bad with committing to things & being flaky
✶On the same note of not being commited... She's a pretty big flirt & a sucker for a pretty face. When it comes to relationships she claims to never want to be tied down & indulging in flings is a bad habit of hers.
✦She's completely under the impression that the marauders who pillaged her home killed Muzu, when in actuality they just captured her along with a small amount of other villagers. She was able to escape but was unable to make it back to the ruins of the village before Roldos left, & they have yet to be reunited.
Inventory
Ornate Angélique Lute
Her lute is trimmed with gold & detailed with paintings of delicate flowers, as well as her signature heart motif. It combines features of the lute, the harp, & the theorbo, & she likes it because it's just extra dramatic for no sensible reason besides, well, the sake of being dramatic!
Muzu's Cape
Teal in color & was once full-length but had been cut short to take off any part that was damaged in the fire. Though it may seem like her magic comes from the music she plays, the orange jewel keeping the cape secured in place is actually her arcane focus.
Fanletters & Flowers
She has no shortage of gifts from her adoring fans, & she likes to keep them close at hand to boost her ego.
Gold Rapier
Used more as a big fancy letter opener than an actual weapon

Muzu
Since being seperated from her sister, Roldos has felt like half of her is always missing, unable to be filled no matter what luxury she indulges in. Her last words to Muzu were "I hate you", & not a day goes by where she doesn't regret this.
