The monotony of the last few centuries has all but wiped it away.

Previously Captain Iwasaki, now an Espada ruling the hollow halls of Las Noches, barely grasping onto her own name. Her death shocked the Gotei 13, her disappearance even more so. Her grave sits empty in Soul Society, her Konso Reisai never performed. Perhaps it was an unfair end to her story - that woman that shone like the sun, left without her rites, to be slowly forgotten.

No one expected to see her again.

Espada number 5, death aspect 'idealism/lost hope'.
Her power lies between that of an Adjuchas and Vasto Lorde.
She likes to sing to fill the silence - Las Noches has lovely acoustics, and the quiet of the Hueco Mundo deserts still screams in her ears when she can't hear anything else.
Her Zanpakuto was Ohirume (大日孁; 'Lady of the sun') and release command was 'shine in Heaven' (天照れ; amatere). Her Shikai manifested as a bright blade that could alter in shape.
- Man kosen (万光線; 'Ten thousand rays'): Raising her blade into the air, her zanpakuto multiplies and forms a bright arc behind her, similar to the sun's rays. She is able to manipulate these blades individually.
- Asamoya (朝靄; 'Morning mist'): Her blade dissipates entirely, forming a blinding haze around her target.
Her Bankai, Kinga no Ohirume (金牙の大日孁; 'Golden-fanged Lady of the sun'), manifested as as a yumi made of light. She was able to fire arrows that would take the forms of running wolves.
Her Resurrección is Cerbero ('Cerberus') and release command is 'bellow' (怒鳴れ; donare).
- Infierno ardiente ('Hellfire'): A specialized cero; rather than dissipating after firing, it continues to burn whatever it touches.
