So in my imaginary wold god created angels to guard and protect all his creations, as soon as an angel is a suitable age, god will send it to earth to experience what it is like to be a human. When castiel was send to earth at first everything seemed to be fine, but as soon as he encounterd death everything changed. Seeing people suffer caused by the death of their loved ones filled him with grief. And suddenly all he could see was pain and sadness. Eventually he became very depressed and even attempted suicide. When god heard about that he took him back to heaven and earased his memory. But his scars (throug selfharm) remained. Till this day he always wonders whered he get those scars.
