Hippolyte is a rather discreet man, he doesn't really try to stand out. He does have a noticeable look, but he isn't extra at all, and remains very drawn out. The man is very docile, and usually feels more confortable following clear instructions than taking the reins. He's shy and rarely speak up his mind, even though he might do if the stars' alignment is right at some point.

However, and despite his weak will and drawn out behavior, he's incredibly reliable. Calm and collected, he rarely ever loses his cool. He knows how to handle pressure, and does it well. He's focused, hardworking, and once he aimed at something, you can bet he will reach his goal at any given moment. He doesn't lose focus easily, he's organized and find the best path to reach the next step easily and with great efficiency.

Hippolyte comes from a rather wealthy, old family. Upper class and all that jazz. However, and despite all expectation, he was not a only child, and actually had many siblings. While it wasn't bad at all of a childhood, it wasn't the best either : Their parents, very busy and having to take care of so many kids, didn't give them as much love and attention as one could have hoped for. However, let's be clear, the children weren't forgotten.

Hippolyte would often so try to spend time with his parents despite their different views on life. But it didn't work all that much. They were busy and couldn't afford to spend so much time with their younger child: they had 5 others begging for that attention as well, and solo activities weren't possible to allow them to entertain all these kids at once.

In his early 15's, Hippolyte came out as a trans boy. His parents went through a set of several mindsets over the years.

Step 1 : They denied everything, screamed at him, refused to accept him. They would even deshumanize him, saying he's "their trans" instead of "their son" or even "their daughter". It took a while for them to be decent human beings with him.
Step 2 : They seeked for a first therapist. She was pretty good. Helped them go through some thoughts to sort them out and put some order into their head. In the meantime, Hippolyte was left alone, and the young man learnt to be autonomous... His parent definitely focused on how hard it was for THEM, and not for their SON.
Step 3 : Suddenly, they understood their child was a young man. However, truly lacking deconstruction, they decided they had to help him put thing back into order as soon as possible : He needed a flat chest, a penis, balls, and a mighty beard. They put a terrifying amount of effort to plan his surgeries so he could finally be a "real man".
Step 4 : They went to another therapist, who once again helped them focus on their SON more and on their OWN "STRUGGLES" less. It was harder for him to go through that than for them. Eventually, through therapy and with Hippolyte's dedication and long explanations, they learnt to know better.
Step 5 : Nowaday, and after 5 years, Hippolyte's parents are finally much safer to be around. They went through a massive glow up, and are now adamant fighter for trans rights. They have managed to deconstruct themselves, to understand and listen to their son, to accept him and his unconventional gender presentation. Life's much better. But the former transphobia is not forgotten.

In the meantime, Hippolyte got a job. Hired as Lukman Nassar's private driver, a much prestigious place to be, the young man gained in confidence. Being treated absolutely flawlessly, he affirmed himself into his identity. He knows Lukman doesn't care all that much, but the man truly helped him with his detached yet rather empowering remarks.
