Personality: At first, Octavius isn't too friendly of an individual, and he doesn't warm up to people easily. He's generally soft-spoken, although he has a rather short temper and will not hesitate to raise his voice if angered; this, accompanied with the fact that he has a naturally very menacing-sounding voice and daunting appearance, tends to ward off unfamiliar folk. Despite his outward demeanor, Octavius is benevolent, and would only harm somebody else in self-defense or in defense of those he cares about.
In reality, Octavius has trust issues due to having a very rough childhood and more than a few traumatic life experiences that he would rather forget. Breaking past his tough barrier reveals that he's actually very emotional and fragile, and that he has some psychological trauma due to his past. He develops very strong bonds with people he knows, and is fiercely protective of those who are close to his heart, such as his daughter. He just needs somebody to vent his feelings out to, and he hopes that he'll someday be able to find that one person.
Likes: Being alone, reading, going on walks
Dislikes: Thinking about the past, anyone he loves getting hurt, overly cold temperatures
Special abilities: Able to manipulate matter made of an almost shadow-like energy. He's honed these powers quite well over the years, and is even able to manifest the energy into functional wings.
His powers are incredibly strong and dangerous, so he hardly ever uses them; if he does, it's only in defense of himself or others.
