About Pokopos

Pokopos are tiny woodland fairy spirits said to be fireflies blessed by the forest guardian. Most standing at around 5 inches tall they can easily fit in the palm of your hand. Many pokopo love to sing and dance! They communicate by flashing the lights on their ears and wings and rubbing up against each other. Pokopos are most defined by their ears and wing like protrusions on their hips. While pokopos can't actually fly, they can use these wing-like parts to glide through the air. The inner part of their ears as well as the outer parts of their "wings" can emit light. Often pokopos will shine their lights at night creating a soft glow, but their lights will also shine when they are very happy or angry. The most common color for lights are yellow, but it's not uncommon to find other hues. Although every pokopo's light glows red when they are angered. 

While pokopos have male and female varieties, they don't have any specific gender. Their appearance is solely personal preference and they can change it at will.
