Name: Briar (Her full name is Briar Rose, but she hates being called that, so naturally, Snapdragon calls her that)

Parents: Snapdragon the RainWing (Father) & Truthseeker the NightWing (Mother)
Ancestry: Snapdragon, and therefore Briar, are descendants of Jambu and Queen Glory.
Personality: Briar is a very testy RainWing. She's lazy but loves to practice her venom shooting. She tends to snap whenever she doesn't get her allotted 10 hours of sleep a day, and is very short-tempered in general, along with being very sassy and rude. She's very quiet most of the time and insanely introverted. Briar tends to hold herself to insanely high standards and is somewhat of a perfectionist. She is, however, a sweet dragon on the inside, she just keeps it bundled up inside her because she's sometimes ashamed of her father, Jambu, and finds him and his happiness embarrassing.
Special powers: Mind-reading, though she keeps it blocked most of the time because she hates that it's a connection to her mother, who she never knew.
Backstory: Briar Rose is born in the jungle under one full moon, granting her the powers of mind-reading. As a dragonet, it's painfully obvious to everyone that she's not a typical RainWing. Her mother was a shy and quiet NightWing, and Briar takes after most of her personality, though her hot-headedness and sass are her own. Despite the great love she can see in her father whenever he mentions her mother, Briar hates the connection to her and desperately wishes she was a normal RainWing and not some weird hybrid who freaks everyone out. She joins Jade Mountain Academy at the age of 2, where she gets sorted into the Onyx Winglet. There, she finally makes a friend: Fennec the SandWing, who becomes the only dragon in the world to see Briar finally lose the control she has over her emotions and actions.
Owl the IceWing is another dragon that immediately draws her attention in her winglet. Cocky, assertive, and brash, Owl immediately takes a liking to her and hounds her every step. Despite actually liking the dragon, his behavior reminded Briar too much of Lei, a childhood "friend" of hers that stalked her her whole life, so Briar ignored every advance of his, romantic or friendly. Later in the year, Owl finally snaps and kidnaps Fennec and Snapdragon, with the help of his siblings, in a fit of rage. Briar tracks them down and rescues them, talking some sense into Owl at the same time. Slowly, Briar helps Owl become a better version of himself and they end up dating.
Unfortunately, several months later, Owl learns of Lei's unwanted advances towards Briar and after trying to get the RainWing to back off in a friendly way, Owl snaps again and kills Lei. Briar is outraged and leaves Owl, flying away and touring the whole continent for a year whilst trying to figure out her feelings.
A year later, the two bump into each other by accident and sort out all the challenges they have as a couple. Since then, Briar is happily slowly, but surely, transforming Owl into a better dragon, and Owl is slowly learning and helping Briar come out of her shell.
