Profile

Personality:
Paskus is described as exuberant and over-the-top. She has a habit of making the room feel more fun. She has a way of involving everyone, and it comes easy for her. She is known to have a mean streak, complete with a deep envy. Her jealousy can be intense, and she doesn’t hide it well.

History:

Paskus was born on October 6th, in Manitoba, Canada. Her parents were both minimum wage workers who had to live with their parents in a small apartment to make ends meet. Sachi’s birth was the sole thing keeping her parents together, they were on the brink of divorce yet stayed because they wanted their daughter to have two parents. Sachi was a loud child, who would cry frequently and throw tantrums a lot. Her grandparents tried to soothe the toddler but she refused to listen. The only time Paskus was calm was when she was listening to music. Her grandparents were inclined to specifically 80’s tunes, and traditional indigenous songs.
Paskus had an undying curiosity for nature, and for people alike, oftentimes stopping to stare.

When she started school, this was chalked up to nothing but a child being aloof. Paskus’ parents were nervous about her going to school, because she seemed like a target for bullies. On the contrary, Paskus easily made friends, sharing common interests about her favourite cartoons and loudly singing songs. She was somewhat of a teacher’s pet, always assisting her teachers in any way she could. When Paskus was ten, her parents split, deciding that they would be better off separated. There was a custody battle and it was determined she would stay with her mother in the apartment, and until her father found residence then she would be able to visit him too. Paskus didn’t understand why her dad had to go, and asked her friends at school, they all acted ashamed and she learned that that was not something to share.
Paskus was unable to see her father for three months, and when she asked her grandparents why they simply said that it was because indigenous men were deemed ‘too violent’. Despite being young, Paskus was sure that she did not want to let her identity- who she was, be her fault. Paskus made sure to be unapologetically her.

By middle school, her friends were getting dates. She wanted to participate and found a boy named Mark, who she didn’t particularly like. She viewed him as a friend, but wanted to talk with her friends about dating culture. One of her female friends, Tanya, was constantly teasing Paskus. Paskus eventually found out what the term ‘lesbian’ meant, and was quick to come out as lesbian. She dumped Mark (on good terms), and she and Tanya began dating instead. Paskus started to participate in her school’s music club, playing the keytar because that’s what most of her glam-rock idols played.

In highschool, Paskus was nominated as the most likely to be a changemaker. She participated in local indigenous youth clubs, actively supported rights, and started her own green-thumb garden. Paskus was also incredibly talented at playing the keytar, writing her own songs to go along with her playing. She joined a band that some other kids decided to make, called the Ruin The Hierarchy, which produced a fusion of indigenous-glam music.
Her and Tanya were not doing well, Paskus had discovered that Tanya was cheating, so with a heavy heart she broke things off with her. Being able to focus on herself, she pushed forwards and ended up touring some of Canada.

Hope’s Peak Academy invited her under the title, ‘the ultimate keytarist’.
