This grem had always been considered ugly and hideous by their owner. Their owner even went so far as to always keep the grem concealed with things such as paper bags, burlap sack, cloths and blankets to cover up their appearance but the most used was cloth/blanket. Their owner was embarrassed to be seen with the grem and next to forcing the grem to cover their appearance, the owner also kept them secluded away in the attic most of the time, leaving them with a lonely life and only the attic insects and spiders as friends.
Because of the owner’s behaviour towards the grem, they too have become self-conscious of their own appearance and truly believe they were hideous, repulsive and nightmarish under the cloth.
Eventually their owner could no longer stand them, murdering them in cold blood and left them still wrapped in the cloth in the attic. Hyde was reborn as a cypher fused with the sheet they’ve always known.

• Their horror insides can vary. Teeth, tentacles, eyes, spindly branch hands, spiders, creepy crawlies are all fair game to portray
Powers & Trivia
• Their emotions are expressed by their form; insecurity makes them look meek and feeling confident makes them look scary
• Can compel a single person/being at a time to feel they must do everything they can to help the Cypher and become a “Best Friend”
• Can create a “Peer-Pressure” to influence a group of people
• They can experience an emotional Meltdown upon losing or anticipating the loss of a “Best Friend” that causes them to have temporary access to their full range of abilities until they emotionally stabilize again
• The victim can escape this influence with sufficient distance, friend support, or by strength of their own will and self-confidence
• They cannot hide or fake how they feel and how that reflects in their size and ugliness and the abilities they can use
• They create a thermal aura around them ideal to the comfort of their current victim or Best Friend and everyone else in the same proximity (15ft radius) will feel it as a cold-spot
• A Best Friend will only last for as long as the cypher is able to keep their victim emotionally isolated
• The more confident they feel the more solid in form they are and the more likely they can be damaged
• The less confident they feel the less likely they are to draw the attention of a potential Best Friend
