he’s fascinated by the paranormal, he can often be found trying to talk to ghosts 

this all started when his grandma passed, he started seeing her ghost, she was very friendly and sort of mischievous, always pulling pranks on Adam and his friends 

his father is also a firm believer of the paranormal, but instead of being interested and fascinated by it, he lives his life in fear, his mother wasn’t really fond of him because he was a reckless child, she still cared for him tho, because she felt obligated to (as she should, that’s her son were talking about) she helped raise adam untill she died in her late 70s, adam was about 12 when that happened
