Violet Joshi

Violet Joshi is a sickly middle school girl. She has been in and out of hospitals since she was a baby, and her days spent at school have been minimal. She tries, though, but on one of the few days she tried going to school for a full day, she ended up being kidnapped by the Slenderman.

In exchange for her work as a proxy, Violet is supplied pills that seemingly make her condition better enough for her to romp around the woods by herself. She will never admit it, but she actually enjoys the freedom the strange pills give her despite the price she has to pay; that price being The Nurse.

The Nurse is an unnervingly mature and cool-headed girl who takes unsuspecting persons to the Slenderman to do away with. If her "patient" doesn't cooperate, The Nurse will resort to murder to complete her objective. Her preferred way is using the hypodermic needle she initially woke up with to fire air bubbles into the victim's bloodstream to cause an aneurysm. Violet is mortified at The Nurse's actions and doesn't know how she'll be able to return to her normal life after her contract is up.

Violet is a shy child who prefers to stick with adults out of the feeling of safety and habit. She is studious and a good listener, and enjoys learning new things. She also enjoys dolls and getting presents. After finding and staying at Andy Douglas' cabin, she often sticks with Alan Richards and looks up to him as an older brother figure.
