Early Adulthood (19-22)

Born and raised in Central City, Quentin Ross moved to Gotham City. For months he struggled financially and often worked as a waiter. The work wasn’t enough as he found it more and more challenging. That was until an incident at Gotham’s Bank.

Inspired by the acts of the Riddler, Quentin wanted to prove he would make a great recruit. It wasn’t long till he came up with a persona, known as Question, and began to commit crimes. He claimed it all to be Riddler’s work, something the Prince of Puzzles wasn’t aware of.

These crimes, which were unalike to what Riddler was known for, started making the headlines. When the news finally reached Edward Nygma he was infuriated. He believed Question was ruining his reputation and wanted this mystery man’s work to end. However, Quentin’s doing was building up to one final hit. His plan was to steal a rare artifact from the Gotham Museum in hopes it would impress the King of Conundrums.

During the heist Riddler and his henchwomen, Query and Echo, made an appearance. Nygma was going to selfishly take the artifact after Question obtained it, but changed his mind after realizing the boy’s hard work. Before getting the chance to run off with Riddler Question was stopped by the Dark Knight. Batman gave him the choose to either turn himself in or run off and live the life of crime. Quentin was hesitant, but made his decision.

Quentin’s first few months were difficult. He was an errand boy, sending messages to rogues, fixing the Riddlebots, and cleaning around the hideout. Within time, Question grew a good reputation with members of the Rogue Gallery as he associated with them. After insisting he was ready, Question now works alongside Riddler as his sidekick.

Adulthood (22-30)

After years of working for Riddler, the two of them grow closer in a romantic way.
