- Glasses are optional, they have thin frame which can rest on his snout without the need for temples (handles).
- He has a large, muscular build, and tends to look more like a bear than a canine.
- Nose and tongue are Parti/Butterfly coloured. Canine teeth are gold.
- The aurora and stripes along his body and hands is constantly changing and can be anywhere, same goes for the constellations and stars inside. They are endlessly flowing like ink in water.
- Clothes are optional, but are usually fit to an astronomy/space/NASA aesthetic.
- Merc tends to keep his hair short and a bit shaggy.
- Always has bags under his eyes due to a lack of sleep caused by his meds.
- Human disguise is yet to be designed so please don't try to draw it (All of the SIS members have human guises that are assigned to them in case of the base being compromised.)
A sweet, soft-spoken guy who yearns to travel the galaxy. He's what you would call the "mom-friend" of the group, always looking out for everyone and doing his best to make sure people are safe. Merc treats other gently and is a great listener, but has troubles with keeping conversations going and isn't the best with speaking himself.

- Merc became stranded here on Earth after his ship malfunctioned. While originally striving to fix it and return to mapping the galaxy, he decided to stay after being introduced to the members of the Space Invader Society, and learning of their cause.
- He's really good with animals, and loves the fluffy ones! He actually has a small collection of baby ducklings that he takes care of in his quarters on base, he found them stranded by a river while on a jog one night and wanted to help.
- Sometimes if he holds something too tightly for too long, the object will be tinted with the color from his markings, like ink.
- His glasses aren't necessary but usually helps him read after all of the strain his eyes go through from loss of sleep.
- Merc sometimes uses his human disguise to sneak out at night and go on long walks or jog. He just needs some fresh air every now and then.
