Marine Exploration Droid 0-5, known as MED-0-5, is an outdated android originally used by scientists for deep-sea expeditions and wreck explorations. Medos was deactivated and thrown to the scrap yard, where he was meant to be recycled. Somehow, he was rebooted and managed to escape. Currently, he resides near the scrap yard where he was initially abandoned, evading the detection of authorities and scrappers.

Medos wishes to sabotage the underwater hotels that have begun to pop up around his home, and that have disturbed the wildlife that lives there. However, doing so would put himself at risk of being scrapped, and he has no allies to rely on. So far, his attempts at building other sentient androids has failed. He fears the humans too much to actively seek out their help, though he's gotten close to doing so before.
