Priya Parekh

Priya is the illegitimate daughter of the late king of Nagarhi and a court dancer, though her royal heritage went undiscovered until after her little brother Krish had become king. She didn't particularly mind as she had 0 interest in the throne to begin with, but didn't turn Krish down when he asked her to become the leader of his personal guard.

This would have been fine had Priya "Real Goddamn Gay" Parekh not met Queen Shizuka of Sunai and heard her request for a Nagarhi warrior to become part of her own personal guard. Given that the queen was known for her beauty... it was essentially a given that Priya would immediately offer herself for the position. Between her skill and charm she found it easy to claim the position of Captain and to this day spends her free time either napping with her head in the Queen's lap, training, or hitting on women in the tea shops... but when she's on duty, you won't find a more responsible or devoted guard.

Dragon Form Appearance Notes:

• Long noodly body, thick vinelike horns that have lotus blossoms on them, big eyes, small catlike teeth, longer and sharper claws than average, strip of black hair running down back and ending at a tail tuft with a lotus petal shaped tailtip peeking out from under the tuft
• Scales are shaped like lotus petals and are a pale green color
• Eye color is blue, but seems to get lighter toward the bottom of her iris
• As a dragon born from two other dragons, Priya has no "birth poem". One can be divined for her by the priests in Nagarhi, but she's never bothered to go get it.
  
• Ability - Rise from Suffering - lotus flowers carry the meaning of rising from suffering. In Priya, this manifests as her being able to withstand a great deal of physical pain: the more serious her wounds, the stronger she gets. Near-lethal blows can make her scales impenetrable... not that Priya ever fights as a dragon...
• Loves to ride horses and is rarely seen without Nisha, her mount.
