Aiichiro Koibuchi is the fearsome banchou of the Matsuyama-based teenage motorcycle gang, the Bleeding Hearts. Infamous in the city as the ringleader of any number of public disturbances, Aiichiro has been arrested on numerous occasions for everything from dangerous driving up to massive shoplifting, and even a year in correctional school hasn’t been enough to break his maverick spirit. Perhaps most surprisingly is that he was convinced to run for student council at South Matsuyama High School, part of a team consisting entirely of teenage thugs. In just under a year, though, that team managed to pull up the failing and apathetic school and reshape it into a successful community with no shortage of awards at prefecture competitions; Aiichiro played no small role in this, for he managed to balance the books of council gone completely bankrupt and raise sufficient and even surplus funding for school events, equipment, and competitions. His work ethic, head for numbers, and experience with leadership allowed him to take a failing student council and student body and help renew them into something successful.
