Salmonleap grew up in RiverClan with her littermate Conchear, she was always larger than the average cat, even when a kit. Her older peers always boasted how that'd make her a great warrior, she was set on proving them right and making every single one of them proud of her for that. Though as she grew she continued to underestimate her own size and strength, hurting cats when she didn't mean too. At some point she accidentally killed another cat in battle by breaking their spine, this horrified her as they weren't that much older than an apprentice. Her brother helped her cope with it the first time, but eventually he wasn't able to help as it kept happening. She closed herself off from her clanmates and stayed aloof for a long time. The medicine cat of RiverClan, Splashleaf, soon started to spend everyday with her, talking. Most of the time Salmonleap didn't respond, but Splashleaf never deterred. As their relationship grew, they became inseparable, Salmonleap retired from being a warrior early and switched to medicine cat training to be with Splashleaf and hopefully make amends with herself for what she had done.
