Shingo

A special oto-chro released on Valentines Day. Despite his date of manufacture being such a special occasion, he shows a deep seethed hatred for Valentines and chocolates despite the efforts of his creators to program his AI to venerate them. But just like all oto-chros he exhibited a human-like consciousness of his own, even going as far as to mock the human capacity to "love" which he considers as nonsensical and "pathetic". Rumor even has it that cacao treats, spices, and "everything nice" were included into his materials during the manufacturing process.

The oto-chro went to a rather well-known composer who endearingly named him "Shingo" (参午). The characters of his name respectively mean "love" because of the special day he was made (much to the dismay of the oto-chro) and "afternoon" because of the vibrant shades of his hair. What his master didn't expect is that the oto-chro came with an attitude akin to a prideful spoiled brat, despite that he found the robot amusing for its high intellect and human-like qualities proven from their exchange of banter. Though they had many contrasting qualities and opinions, they were both equally stubborn and shared the same taste in music and thoughts about love.

It may seem they don't get along very well on first glance, but in truth Shingo and his master respect and hold one another in high regard. As Shingo feeds on the music his master creates, he in turn gave his master feelings of vigor and confidence resonating from his ears. Just like a charm, his master felt Shingo had brought him further success into his career for the inspiration he gives him.

It was only when his master changed his opinions on love did the oto-chro enter a rather "rebellious phase". When the master started bringing home a lady into the house did Shingo began "adventuring" out of the safety of their home, and at times not returning immediately. The master does indeed worry for his dear oto-chro, but he believes that maybe having him learn on his own and meeting new people that Shingo may eventually also accept "love".
