Fall Girl- introduced herself to Jack by this once and he will not let it go ...damn it.

Bluey- Bunnymund calls her this whenever he sees her. Occasionally it’s ‘Lofty Blue’. Fricken fight her Bunny!!

Pixie Stick- Toothiana calls her this, referring to her love for sweets.

Lastachka (LAS-tach-ka)- means ‘Swallow’ (like the bird) in Russian. She is sometimes called Crazy Pteechka(PTEECH-ka) A diminutive form of a bird, mainly he’s calling her a crazy bird. 

Starlight: an endearment given to her by kozmotis (pre-pitch) and nightlight.

Personality:

She's a tomboyish spirit who loves to travel and go on mini-quests. She's a bit playful with things and enjoys a good prank here and there but never enough to harm someone. Ester is an empathetic woman but can be vicious and merciless when needed. Ester tries to look on the positive side of things in life and always keeps an open mind on things as well. She's very protective of her friends and those she considers family. Ester has some bad traits to go along with the good, she tends to let her temper get the better of her or her impatience. The two fuel each other at times when Ester is especially in a mood. Everyone has a fear and that fear for Ester is that someday she wouldn't be able to protect the children or her loved ones when they need her the most. Ester tends to keep things to herself most of the time, mostly because she doesn’t want to burden anyone but also because it’s a way for her to avoid reminiscing about a painful past she carries on her shoulders. She is especially loyal to her friends, ensuring she does something to help them when they need it. She tries her best to do what's good for them even if it would hurt them, one thing she tries to avoid at all costs.

Traveling around the world, making new potions, growing herbs, scaring kids on Halloween (only the mean ones), pranking them is fun too.

Powers/Abilities:

-Casting magic spells (summoning magic, protection charms, seals, traps, and potions.)

Weaknesses:

- She has a limit to how many spells she can cast depending on how strong the spell is. She will get weak and exhausted if she overexerts herself. This doesn't necessarily count for potions or seals; potions are magical from the ingredients than from the caster and seals only uses magic from the caster if invoked for its purpose. Making them don't call for any magical items (depending on the use).

- All stars are perfectly able to control exactly how bright they are, brightness varies depending on their mood. A star starts to lose their glow if they become weakened through lead or uses too much power than they are able.

- A star must glow, even if it's a soft aura if a star doesn't glow as they should they will start to fade away. The star they represent will become a white draw and then a black dwarf once the star has faded. Different stages depend on the type of star, what they've done in their lives, and how they faded.

- Even though a star is 'immortal' they can still die of normal causes or during a battle. They also can still receive minor cuts or bruises.

- If a star is weak (exhausted, overexertion, or ill) they will not be able to fly or perform other tasks. They can still glow but it would be pale and sickly.

most of the weaknesses may be a bit more au than canon but I like how I did them for now. If you think something can be added or anything let me know ^^.

Life Story:

Early Life

Ester was born on June 7th back in the golden age. Both parents were proud to have a young daughter to raise and spoiled rotten, although they never considered Ester becoming the woman she is today. Ester didn’t start going by her alias until she had grown to the bright age of 10, expressing her distaste in her given name Estella. The only ones allowed to call her by such names are her parents, Kozmotis, and Nightlight. If one were to refer to her as such would get a good talking to and possibly a slap to the face if they irritated her enough. 

Kozmotis was named Ester’s godfather, he was her father’s most trusted soldier before Pitch had become a general himself like her father. Kozmotis was her favorite ‘adult’ as she grew, he tended to spoil her more than the others and humor her more ‘unladylike’ tendencies than her parents did. He was always tasked to keep an eye on young Ester until she was old enough to no longer require a babysitter. She and Kozmotis formed a parent-like bond that would even remain when the general becomes the dreaded pitch black. One-sided or not. 

Nightlight was introduced to Ester at the young age of 7, the two hit it off instantly which surprised the adults with how opposite the two were. Ester was more outgoing and loudly spoken while Nightlight tended to shy away and was quiet spoken in his younger years. The redhead had become quite the influence to young Nightlight, bringing the star out of his shell and become more of an extrovert. The two had fun adventures and got into things they shouldn’t have (at times) but always stuck close to each other, considering themselves to be siblings more than anything. If one were to be asked about the other they would be able to tell a person their favorite food to the preferred position they liked to sleep in. 

Teenage/Later years:

When Ester matured into a beautiful young woman she had been expected to be a perfect Lady, to be the next princess of the Solaris family and leading their area of the large Milky Way nebula. That wasn’t what Ester wanted, she wanted to become a Lunar knight like her father and Godfather Kozmotis himself. It was an argument her family had on several occasions when she mentioned what her duties were to be. Her parents were strong with their point until a gala for Ester’s crowning; young Ester who was forced to dress elegantly to attend the gala that had welcomed guests of all kinds. Her father’s fellow soldiers, the king and queen lunar, Kozmotis, Nightlight, and many more. 

Ester, overstimulated and pressured during the gala, had become upset and denied the crown that was placed on her head. Voicing her unhappiness and wants to her parents, “If I can be a princess then why can’t I be a warrior too?”

Her parents, embarrassed and upset at this turn of events, were not happy with Ester’s reaction. They had been about to send the young star back to her room for the night until Kozmotis had put in his opinion on the matter, “I don’t see why she can’t be both. You are, are you not Flicker?” 

It was only with the Lunar’s input that Ester’s parents finally agreed to Ester becoming a Lunar knight like her father and Kozmotis. She was trained by Kozmotis himself along with Nightlight, both had reached the top of their class during their training days and had been given titles of Starlight knights in a new branch. One that had been created by the Lunars made up of only the brightest stars that existed in the universe. 

Nightlight and Ester had become the top two generals of the branch along with 8 others, Nightlight, later on, stepped down from his title to become the bodyguard of tsar Lunar.

In mid-golden age, Ester had lost both of her parents, her mother to an attack led by dream pirates and her father who had been trying to protect her and the men on said ship. Consumed with grief Ester had closed herself off from others, it only worsened when Kozmotis was placed on watch for the fearling prison. She had made a promise, at her godfather’s insistence, to keep an eye on his daughter Emily while he remained at his post. 

Ester kept to this promise, keeping tabs on the young Pitchiner as she continued her duties as both a noble and a knight. Soon the Golden Age came to a despairing end; Ester had been forced to fight her godfather along with the nightlights, Lunar knights, and the Pooka. Resulting in the destruction of many constellations, The Pooka Race, and the destruction of all Lunar knights save for her. 

After Nightlight’s sacrifice, Ester had left her post once ensuring that MiM was perfectly safe within the moon clipper. By then she had completely lost any form of contact with Emily, she had decided to spend most of her time to search for the young Pitchiner. Her search soon came to an end when the redhead simply gave in to her doubts and depression, abandoning both her past identity and her charge. Something she had come to regret in her later years. 

Ester was occupied with saving the children and creatures of Sleepy Hollow from their malevolent queen Eris. It wasn’t until it was too late that she learned what had become of the newly revived Nightlight and Pitch, She spent the rest of her years watching Nightlight as he aged and soon left the world to become a reincarnated Jackson Overland then Jack Frost. 

Present:

Ester now protects the forest Sleepy Hollow, she keeps an eye out for the children and creatures that live within it. Samhain knows a little of Ester’s past and has an idea of who she could be (or is) but doesn’t pry. The young star doesn’t really glow anymore and keeps her spear close by at all times. 

She tends to take long trips around the world looking for new adventures that may be in her wake. Ester has re-labeled herself as a witch for hire; making spells, potions, or inventions that could help a spirit get revenge or health reasons.

The young woman is later asked to become a guardian at MiM’s insistence, proving that she has found a way that could cure Pitch from the fearlings control and possibly gain his identity as Kozmotis. More of this will be disclosed in an upcoming fic that I am currently writing (hopefully I’ll keep working on it and finally get Ester’s story out for all to see.)

Family and Friends 

Parents (if known):

Flicker Solaris (Father)- Ester has somewhat of a close relationship with her father, his stories as a Knight and general is what encouraged her to become a Lunar knight herself. He occasionally humors her in her pretend adventures and battles with fearlings and star pirates, joining in on the fun.

Eliza Solaris (Mother)- Ester’s mother, a noblewoman, always pressured her to be the good young lady she is meant to be. Although she does loosen up a bit and play pretend with her in her younger years as a noble knight protecting the beautiful Star queen of Solaris. Both her and Flicker’s death impacted Ester greatly.

Kozmotis Pitchiner (Godfather)- Ester and Kozmotis had a very close relationship with each other. He had become her preferred babysitter and playmate, spoiling the young ester with her antics and pretending. He had personally trained her in becoming a Lunar knight and watched her turn into the young woman she is today. It destroyed the Young Ester when he had given in to temptation and was turned into Pitch Black by the fearlings. 

Best Friends:

-Jack Frost: The two had an awkward meeting at first, the male just witnessed her falling from the sky for Pete's sake. She nearly gave him a heart attack when he heard screaming and ended up on the ground with the redhead on top of him. After the initial shock and the question of ‘how’ she introduced herself as ‘ester the fall girl, witch of Sleepy Hollow’ after that she’s been greeted as ‘fall girl’ from then on by the spirit much to her annoyance, the two eventually bonded over their love of practical jokes and pull it on their all-time favorite target the Easter bunny himself. For a while Jack had reminded her of someone familiar, she wasn’t for sure who until she had looked back on a drawn picture Kathrine had given her, she hasn’t told him about it yet but she’s happy to have her old friend back. 

-Nightlight: when she sees him that is, She met Nightlight when they were young children. Ester was little when she first met the spirit and had one-sided conversations with the bright male, they both enlisted to become lunar knights together. They held a sibling-like bond over the years and had been through a lot together, they were both trained by Kozmotis before he was stationed at the gates. She was very devastated by her friend's loss and is happy to know that he still lives on in some way. 

-Lucy: one of my Oc’s, A fellow witch and part of Ester’s coven. Lucy was born in the 21st century and suffers some ridicule from fellow classmates in school. Ester ends up picking the girl up and has become good friends with her over their love for scary movies and fairy hunting. Ester ends up teaching Lucy witchcraft and teaching her how to respect other spirits. They make a game out of it and try to one-up each other on certain spells or potions, occasionally having flight lessons and races during said sessions.  

-Bunny: This rabbit is her favorite target for any pranks, She first met the bunny during one of his first easter hunts. Ester had just jumped out of a tree when she was practically run over by a speeding hunk of animal, she thought it was a bear or a deer at first until she realized that it was, in fact, a giant rabbit. The two get along fairly well despite the small argument that happened at their first meeting, Bunny often calls her Bluey (one who has red hair) or Lofty Blue (Short red or little red)much to her annoyance and frustration. In turn, she calls the rabbit ‘speedy Gonzales’ or the adopted nickname of ‘Kangaroo’ courtesy or Jack himself.

Friends:

-Toothiana: Ester adores this woman, she finds her adorable and huggable but is wary whenever the woman is in one of her fits of rage. Other than that the two get along really well and often have a girls day whenever the fairy manages to get a free day (night) in. Ester had her first run-in with the tooth when she had caught the fairy replacing Halloween treats with sugar-free options. It exploded into a mini argument which was later solved by Samhain himself, afterward, the two had made up and now get along more than they ever did. They have their moments of disagreements from time to time if a sore subject has been hit. -Sandy: Ester worships the king of sass and requests that he tutors her all he knows, which the man of sand is happy to do. The redhead first meets this ball of sand during one of her restless nights of slumber, instead of falling asleep when the golden string of sand had come to her aid she flew up and met the star instead. After a long discussion through interpreting drawings (a little rusty but still good at it thanks to nightlight), she ended up falling asleep at the crack of dawn and being escorted back to her bed. She and Sandy hang out from time to time to relax and enjoy each other’s presence. -North: A little intimidating at first but once she got used to his tough exterior she loves spending time with the Russian. Ester ends up helping him make toys as well as show him the several inventions she had made for Halloween but forbidden to use by Samhain. Other than that, North helps her with her magic and potions. He gives her tips and such for things that aren’t working well or just isn’t strong enough for her to use much to the female’s delight. In turn, she teaches Lucy this as well and informs the female to keep it written down and safe for later generations.

Rivals:

-Lucy: I will Out witch you, Lucy, freaking fight me mate!one of my Oc’s, A fellow witch and part of Ester’s coven. Lucy was born in the 21st century and suffers some ridicule from fellow classmates in school. E. Aster Bunnymund I'm a fookin furry I have embraced mah fate

These two seem to get along fairly well for the most part (other than the -cough- pranks -cough-), Ester doesn't really mind the spring much even if it's a bit warmer than it's fall counterpart and vice versa for the Pooka, They do get into their heated arguments at times and Aster's ended up with more than one curse on him on most occasions (never around Easter though). Tooth likes to tease them about being an old married couple (Ester a bit irritated at being called old) but doesn't let it bother them too much unless jack starts tormenting Aster with it. Sometimes Aster is afraid to go near her new inventions/spells due to Ester having them explode on her more than once, usually, she would have him or go to the north to get treated for the wounds that she receives from said explosions.  NEVER let Ester drink, she gets drunk 4 drinks in and it's never a fun time for anyone....well afterward that is. Aster is the serious one in their relationship although he doesn't mind really, he loses his patience with her when she's joking too much in a serious conversation, if not caught fast enough one simple conversation could turn into a nightmare. Ester being the more relaxed and silly one in the relationship tries to get the Pooka to calm down and relax once in a while, arguments or just a busy bunny usually ends in cuddles and gardening.

Jack Frost: As stated above ester and Jack gets along swimmingly.  They both have cute and odd little nicknames for each other, he calls her fall girl and Merida. Ester teasingly calls him twinkle toes and blue jay, despite not being the biggest fan of the cold she finds that she can get past it as long as she can be with the blue-eyed dork she adores.  Even though they get along they do have their spats from time to time,  once they get into an argument the two stubborn mules can go at it for days until someone either gives or a guardian steps in to save the day.  Due to not being believed in Jack is a bit new to hugs and is a little touch starved. Ester knows just how to fix that by plenty of hugs and cuddle sessions if the frost spirit wants some space all he has to do is let her know and she'll give it but always leaves herself open and ready to give and receive them when he needs it.

-She knows exactly who Jack is, but she doesn’t treat her like she does just because he’s the reincarnation of her friend. She is friends with him because she took the time to know him for who he is. Jack is his own person and she loves him as such. Ester won’t tell Jack who he was, she wants him to find out on his own in his own time and only if the male wishes to know himself.
