Catriona

Catriona is Avie's mother; a quiet and kind woman who is a little distant from her daughter.

Appearance

Catriona is a woman of average height and build.  She had red-brown, short hair with blue eyes.  She has pale skin and her age shows around her face.  She tends to wear plain, simple and dull clothing.

Personality

Catriona is a quiet woman, with few friends outside of work.  She appears to be easy going and relaxed, never really having emotional outbursts, happy or sad.  When not working, she prefers to just stay at home, working on knitting or doing chores around the house.

As a parent, Catriona seems a little distant from her daughter, especially after losing her husband almost eight years ago.  She is very relaxed towards her daughter's lifestyle, never even raising a protest when Avie undertook the dangerous work of a livestock guardian.  She loves her daughter very much, but never really appears invested.
