He knew Mikey since before Mikey came out as gay and transgender. And immediately accepted his best friend.  They got together when they were 15. Married very young. At 17. He was on a date with Mikey they found a smally newborn with bright blue hair in an alley way in a box. Rick was turning 18 soon he and Mikey wanted to adopt this girl. Her parents wernt to be found. And they adopted on ricks birthday.
