San is accustomed to being a loner and an outcast, with a selfish nature that doesn't exactly help him make friends- yet while he's naturally dishonest, wily, and untrustworthy- he's envious of the closeness of families and truly wants to have a meaningful connection with others. It isn't inherently in his nature, however, and he struggles but tries to be a team player and 'good person'. He's very clumsy with interpersonal relationships and doesn't take enough seriously. Sanguine is rather arrogant in terms of his power and the life he's lived, but doesn't seem to have the wisdom nor common sense that should come with experience. This can partly be blamed on his milennia-long incarceration but a lot of it is just him devoting too much brainpower to being a menace. Restricted as he is, Sanguine can only find entertainment in so many ways and so he eagerly leaps on any and every opportunity to cause trouble for others no matter how low or petty.
