Bijou is a struggling artist that has a lot of self esteem issues and is quite the perfectionist. She dreams of the day she will be satisfied with her work and draws tirelessly everyday for that goal. Often she'll draw landscape paintings or anything that inspires her from the museums she goes to. She loves impressionism and anything with water colors, feeling calm and relaxed whenever she sees them. Because she spends all her days painting and selling the artwork she's not comfortable with, she doesn't get out to talk to anyone much. Not because she doesn't want to, of course. She just never has the time to go outside of her studies. She's typically more sensitive than others both emotionally and physically. With that being said, she falls in love with wonderful strangers easily whether that's through admiration or actual romantic interest. Even so, she usually goes back to her studies and will often paint those she felt a connection to.

When It Pours
Bijou does all of her painting outdoors. So, when it rains, she sculpts. When she sculpts, her mind is a much darker place because she always sculpts rather dark concepts of pain and detail in facial expression. She mostly loves sculpting silk. Most people really wish for rainy days because of this. She'll stay in her room with an iced tea until the storm rolls away. During that time, no one can really get to her at all. The only one who can get her out of her hobby is her best friend, Chiyo. Chiyo is pretty much her polar opposite and can talk her out of her gloomy days. When it rains, Chiyo brings Bijou a raincoat and together they go out to soak in the world around them. It gives Bijou inspiration to see what's around her and to be able to think of new concepts to create when she decides to go back home.
