Deer Baby

Personality: Due to having no voice, Deer Baby is very quiet, but has a VERY expressive personality when it comes to the usage of gestures and body language. However, they get annoyed and fed up when people do not understand their methods of communication and often resort to drawing pictures in the sand or mild violence (Hitting the victim with the pole end of their weapon). Despite this, Deer Baby is usually very calm and calculating, conjuring up plans to surprise attack victims and looking for the safest, most hidden place to make camp in; they were raised to survive, and have spent their life perfecting their understanding of how to survive. In accordance with this, Deer Baby refrains from keeping anything too flashy on their person - preferring dull browns, reds, and yellows in what they wear - however, they will collect skulls and skins (human or animal) as a means to adorn themselves or use as barter tool. They are also very athletic and flexible, often performing aerial assaults from the top of dunes or the back of Teeth's dune buggy.

Background Info/History: Dear Baby grew up in the wastelands, born into a nomadic gang of bikers. Most children born into the gang were left unnamed until hitting the age of 5, due to a high infant mortality rate; Deer Baby developed an illness that all but destroyed their ability to speak, but managed to live past the age of 5. Those that survived were named after their mannerisms or objects they found and kept while scavenging. Deer Baby, who was originally named Antler Head by the gang, found a pair of antlers while the gang was exploring an old ranch house that was in a serious state of disrepair - the antlers were on the ground with other fallen trophy game mounts, most of which were bursting at the seams or moth eaten. They took to holding the antlers at the sides of their head as a way to try and communicate emotions and words, thus earning them the name "Antler Head". Later on, one of the oldest members of the gang, alive before the end of the world, used scrap leather and the antlers to fashion a crude, deer shaped mask for Deer Baby.  

At some point in their early-twenties, Deer Baby decided to separate from the group and fend for themselves. On their travels they ran into another person in the wastelands, a man called Teeth, who they formed a partnership with - Deer Baby serving as the brains of the outfit and survival guide, while Teeth served as the muscle and the driver. It is Teeth who gave Deer Baby their new name, as he did not understand the pantomiming and gestures made to the mask - as well as the few sounds Deer Baby could still produce - to translate as "Antler Head". The two now spend their time raiding other travelers in the wasteland for food and supplies.
