- unfortunate defective sapphire assigned to a *proper* sapphire as a "ruby guard"

- is in love w said proper sapph but love is at first unrequited

- probably is a toxic relationship tbh

- easily jealous

- resentful but grateful not to be shattered

- insecure

- doesn't have future vision

- doesn't have ruby strength either

- basically useless (?)
