French monk, member of the Carthusian Order during it's inception. Sometime during his monastic life he was turned. His motivations for turning others are murky to others, but seem to be to recreate the sense of community he grew used to as a monk (However, some of his children believe he turned them as a means to punish them for their earthly sins). However, his true reason for turning others is a twisted way to "save" them from their sins - if his children never die, surely they need not ever atone for their worldly sins.
