Lotte

Lotte is a mercenary, and formerly a knight of the kingdom of Leionne. She aspired to work in the royal guard since she the first time she picked up a weapon, but a cruel twist of fate led her to take full responsibility for the death of the late princess Johanna. Johanna attempted to rescue her from an enemy shell, but she took the brunt of the explosion, losing everything below her waist and dying shortly after. Lotte lost her leg, two of her eyes, and her honor, and was discharged from service shortly after. Seeking a place in life after unofficial exile, and attempting to cope with her failure, she found her way to the underbelly of many spaceports among the disparaged and dishonored, living as a gun for hire.
