Information: He doesn't trust strangers easily and seems very defensive and raw at first. Also, he doesn’t talk much and won’t take help at first. 

After getting to know someone better he'll warm up and gets more affectionate. He hates water and dislikes canines - his 'owners' were canine.

Story: His name was given him because his mother thought the marking on his backhead looks like an maple leaf. The family was too poor and too big and to keep themselves fed, one of the kids got sold as slave...the choice fell on Ahorn. 

His scars come from years of slavery and he doesn’t know what happened with the rest of his family. 

He could only escape when a sickness killed his 'owners' and he has been traveling by himself ever since.
