Hideyoshi Fukunaga is a character featured in Danganronpa : Desperate Measures and a participant in the Killing Cruise Trip

Fukunaga has the title of Ultimate Good Luck, although he goes by the title Ultimate Bad Luck during the Killing Cruise Trip.

Appearance

Fukunaga has short brown hair that is typically very neatly styled, although as the Killing Cruise Trip goes on, it becomes more eratic and messy. He has hazel eyes with dark bags under them, which he passes off as just the extent of his bad luck. Usually, he can be seen with a smile on his face, however it is forced most of the time. He has freckles on his cheeks and nose.

He wears a dark orange sweater vest given to him by his older brother, as he tells Kotobuki, who says it's hideous. Underneath it, he wears a light pink dress shirt that occasionally has a loose white tie. He also wears light brown pants that are a bit too big on him.

Personality

Fukunaga is an optimistic person who seemes to think of his talent as the Ultimate Bad Luck as a minor inconvenience. He can almost always be seen smiling, trying to cheer up his classmates, as he feels responsible for their situation.

Before the Killing Cruise Trip, Fukunaga was an ordinary high school kid who had been accepted into Hope's Peak from the lottery, obtaining the title Ultimate Good Luck. He was very bright and happy, always willing to help out his friends. He enjoyed playfully teasing his friends and joking around with them. He was the class rep of class 85th from Hope's Peak, and trusted amongst his peers.

Ultimate Talent

Fukunaga is known as the Ultimate Good Luck, as he was selected via lottery out of a batch of completely ordinary people. As it turns out, his acceptance into Hope's Peak was rigged by his brother, Aoi Fukunaga, as he could easily manipulate the outcome of the lottery. This is shown by him not having any other portrayals of good luck outside of the lottery.

As a student in the Killing Cruise Trip, he pretends to be the Ultimate Bad Luck, playing off of his natural clumsiness, as suggested by his brother.
