Zatch actually used to be a rival of Hex, wanting to beat him, and even take his games controler, but that didn't last long because Aliza https://www.deviantart.com/queenaliza erased that part of his memory that he knew of Hex, making him turn good the next time he met Hex, so ever since then he became family ever since

Random Facts:

~ Zatch was called Zed because his family who he lived with didn't think he matched up to his name, so they called him Zed instead, but he kind of prefure the name Zatch now anyway 

~ Zatch is actually a name of someone from an anime, and game XD
