Devin is the embodiment of 'curiousity killed the cat', to say the least. His curious nature has often led him to dangerous situations, and he will often require help because of that. He gets scared easily and gets lost more than he should. He has a very hard time understanding more complicated words, especially with fast speakers.

It takes him quite a long time to get comfortable with someone, and he usually just stays away from most social interactions as a whole.

He's an empathetic boy, and he genuinely does try to help others if he can, just like his adoptive brother Finch! His big fear of social interaction does make it hard for him to express this a lot though.

History

Devin was raised by a single mother. His mother was around her 40s when he was born, so that brought in some complications already. As he turned five years of age, he would go on to have an younger adoptive brother named Finch! He had always wished for a younger brother, so having Finch around made him very happy! As he was growing up, however, it was obvious that he has trouble with his academics and social life. He would constantly need to get his hand held through all of his struggles.

During his elementary school days, he had a hard time interacting with his peers as well. He would be extremely playful, but also very easy to scare. He acted almost exactly like a cat. This made him a very easy target for bullying. He would have Paiso Pups chase him down the street sometimes. Sometimes his classmates would even spray him with water and it would make him freak the fuck out. He would be called names as well and was teased relentlessly.

Devin would soon be forced to transfer into another school entirely, even before his adoptive brother was even old enough to attend classes at the time.

Years would go by as Devin suffered with his grades, so much so to the point where he would be held back in school several times.

His mother would slowly grow weaker and he would be obligated to take responsibility with household chores and other things, but he could barely even handle tasks like that. He was easy to distract and too much of a clutz to carry out his duties successfully. This would eventually result into Finch having to help out more around the house than Devin ever could.

Of course, this would make Devin feel bad. After graduating high school (which is just recently), he tried his best to be more independent by attempting to find a job as a botanist! He still has issues with doing things by himself every now and again, but he's been holding up pretty well so far.

Trivia

Devin is a Trufflefloss from the Mu clan with the power of healing! He has a standard fur coat and a four-color palette. He has plant material horns in the shape of cat ears, as well as a plant material cat tail.

He's pretty good with his healing abilities, but he can only heal others, not himself.

He doesn't like shoes. He's usually seen with only socks on.
