"There was something wild... Something promal about the man that stood before me. His eyes were as dark as coal and it seemed like he was able to see past me. Who in the heavens was he, and why do I feel like I am in danger?" -Seraphim upon waking up.
June 6th, an unusual case of a woman giving birth to an owl-child was the talk of a small hospital in Bari, Italy. At the same time, a middle-aged woman just got the news that she is barren and is unable to have a child with her husband. Distraught, she asked the doctor if she could maybe adopt one of the babies left alone by their moms. This is how the owl-child, now named Luca, was born. All was great until Luca's 6th birthday was celebrated. It turns out, that the nurse who assisted in the birth of Luca tracked down the residence of the de Marco family out of the guilt of her conscience. She distrupted the little family gathering and urged that the parents talked with her. Luca's mother, wh's been attached to Luca since he was adopted, refused to believe her story; while the father, immediately believed her since he was waiting outside that very day of the birth and saw a woman speaking in foreign tongues and screaming.
The relationship between Luca and his adoptive family got so strained because of his father, especially since he came out gay when he turned 15, that he decided to move to his adoptive grandmother's house in the south of Bari. There, he finished highschool and immediately started working at a club to help provide for his grandmother, Nonna Lucrezia, and his mother. During one of his shifts at the club a few years later, he saw an unusual comet falling from the sky while he was on a smoke break. Curious, he followed the direction of the comet, and to his horror, it fell on the alley next to the club. There, he saw the most beautiful man clothed in flowing white robes and stardust. His pity got the best of him and he took the man to his home and helped nursed him until he woke up; that was the start of his relationship with the Seraphim.

Luca is a tall and intimidating man in his late 20's. He's generally very calm and collected when left alone until someone somehow drags him into a fight that he's forced to finish. He's very caring to the few that he holds close to his heart and very detatched to the people who he barely knows. He's also very responsible (though it may come as a shock due to his famous redhot-temper) and is great with house work and fixing broken things. He also loves his mother and grandmother above all else and would protect them at all costs.
Luca's schedule with Raph is harmonious. Luca wakes up early to finish the house chores that he could before he cooks breakfast for him and Raph. The smell of coffee and whatever Luca's cooking that day wakes up the Seraphim and he comes down to help set up the table for the two of them. After that, Raph goes to work and comes home at 4 in the afternoon. Around this time, Luca would be sleeping until he's woken up at 6 by Raph for some dinner. They spend time together but that doesn't necessarily mean that they do the same thing. Usually Luca watches the news or the cooking channel while Raph paints or snuggles up to Luca.
