NOTES:
-was left behind by his owners once they moved, forcing him to be a stray dog
-survived on his own, only having a few friends that came and went, very lonely
-met bone while looking for food in a dumpster
-decided to take him under his wing, remembering how terrifying the city was before he landed on his own feet
-teaches bone how to survive in the city and to be wary of humans
-gets into a fight with another dog while finding food and is taken by humans, bone seeing this
-gets a new home but is soon returned to the shelter after a few months, and is getting older. eventually bone gets captured
-the two reunite and escape the shelter, and quill travels with the group for a month or so until winter comes. his leg was injured while escaping, and has arthritis and hip problems, can't walk too fast
-dies of old age and from infection
