Jaxon

Found on the side of the road wrapped in a simple brown cloth, Jaxon was raised by his adopted human parents in the tiny village of Deadriver. He spent his life working hard on the family farm before becoming dedicated to being its protector. Trained intensely by an ex-military soldier he knew only as Zaeed, he was taught the basics of blending magic and might to become the adept spell-sword he is today. He followed this path after Deadriver was assaulted on multiple occasions by marauding bandits looking for an easy score. After witnessing Zaeed cut down bandit after bandit with his flaming blade he pleaded Zaeed for days to train him... Zaeed eventually agreed.

Eventually a Baron began constructing a keep for the region, with guardsmen now patrolling and protecting from the bandits and other dangers Deadriver found some peace to grow again. Zaeed was called back by his mysterious past and left Jaxon with a tome for finishing his training. After a while the harsh winters came, the Baron's men who took food from the gracious village-folk began demanding more and more from Deadriver, to the point that anything they wanted would be taken by force. Jaxon did not stand for it, standing up to the Baron's men and their oppression, and when the guardsmen retaliated Jaxon found that he had the whole village to back him up. The Baron turned up with a dozen more men the next day, Jaxon thought that he would surely get executed for it but instead the Baron gave his twisted mercy. He told Jaxon that he would stop taxing Deadriver of all there food and supplies... as long as he left and never returned.

And so Jaxon was exiled from his home, his loved family and friends. Now adventuring out in the world, protecting those who can't whilst trying to get stronger... so he can come back and get justice he and his people deserve.
