Madusa is a mermaid that was born in Aquinous in a family of sirens, tho growing up she didn’t really connect with her folks. This made her feel more distant in her early years while trying to find ways to express herself. Tho each time she did, it felt like it was more disappointing to them and made her more resentful, before deciding upon a more gothic attire. This lack of belonging made her lash out at others, forcing her frustration onto others. Starting a cycle of disappointment that felt like it was too hard to escape from.

During her teenage years, she began swimming more of the ocean for a place she can have as her own, even for a little bit. During her swims, she soon saw an abandoned shipwreck. Curiously she entered and found many abandoned golds, gems, and clothing. This honestly made her excited and sparked an enjoyment of exploring shipwrecks. For years tho she tried to keep it a secret until around her 17th-18th year when her parents discovered her pack of treasures she could no longer hide. But her folks weren’t mad, more just concerned for her safety.

After that, there seemed to be more of a connection between Madusa and her parents. They bonded more and even her father taught her more and more about cooking and how he prepares some dishes. It felt like opening up to them gave her much more relief. Even when she expressed an idea to open a restaurant with her treasures, her folks pitched in a donation to help with the founding of the building.

Madusa now works at her restaurant, mainly managing the staff and making sure the food is up to par if not better. She does have her moments of swimming off for a day or two and returning to a big bag of treasures. If you ever see her, give her a chat and you never know what tales she might tell you from her small adventures while enjoying some cooked seafood.
