Amongst the Poseid people, seasnakes are the most interesting. They don't age, but instead grow longer and longer over time.
vun (name meaning 'long'), despite their youthful face, has a tail over 100 ft. long and "stands" at about 12 ft.
It is one of the oldest living seasnakes in recorded history. They control nearly every single aspect of moon spirit worship,
and choose to take on very few apprentices and acolytes, if any at all.
Appearance
vun is extremely large and imposing, muscular, and with striking eyes that pierce through ocean darkness. Their skin is almost completely
white, save for their tail which is a dark blue. Their hair is long, lavender, and almost always braided and resting over its shoulders. Small, flexible fins
are attached to various body parts to give vunavha more maneuverability in the water.
Certain white spots on its tail glow to attract prey. As a part of their status and religious importance, vunavha dons many power gems of varying sizes to
enhance their natural abilities and keeps them on nearly at all times. In addition, they
have a paired amulet and staff that gives them considerable sway over nearby currents.
Basics This spiritual leader ensures the communication between the moon spirit and the planet stay intact, and
frequently they initiate sacrifices to appease it by devouring the victim. (They're a priest, but they are also
still a functioning apex predator.)
Their home is the lunar temple on the ocean planet. It is deep, hard to get to but the beauty found there is unmatched.
