A domestic griffin as large as a shepherd, but much, much lighter. They are fierce to small animals but go limp and do not fuss if scooped up by a person. The accessory is made of scales from another creature and clinks, warning prey in the garden. Any lesser material would be quickly snipped off. The wisp is present when the wings are hidden.
