 【Probopass】
[Primary] FerrisFin's pride and joy. He first discovered Ferris as a child when he was just a Nosepass. After being hopelessly lost due to his rash decision of leaving his home after having an argument with his parents, he managed to navigate his way back home with the help of the Compass Pokemon. Ferris then continued to follow him back home and thus remained with him forever as his very first Pokemon. Ferris has a very unique characteristic that differs from any other Probopass; Fin somehow figures out how to manipulate the little fragments of Iron under his nose and shape it into a handlebar mustache. He cares for him greatly, and perhaps the connection between them is beyond people's expectations. |
 【Klefki】
[Second] KliffThe Professor always had a problem losing... almost all of his keys! And one of the many occasions, he'd find a Klefki taking one of them. Fin chased this Klefki endlessly and finally captured him just so he could be able to take back his house key. Yet, Kliff was a stubborn Pokemon who refused to give it back, let alone remain in his pokeball. Surprisingly he enjoyed following the Professor around, thus now Fin keeps all of his keys on Kliff - which is a mistake as it keeps floating off into his own little world. |
 【Delibird】
[Third] DelilahDelilah is one of the Pokemon that he can rely on the most! During his explorations, he found himself stranded for quite a while until a wandering Delibird came by and shared a bit of whatever she had scavenged. As the Professor finally found himself free, he came back for the same Delibird soon after and claimed her as his own. Fin never really had a name for the gal, but his daughter demanded that her name would be Delilah. Nowadays, the Professor can't be trusted and likely he has Delilah holding onto his possessions or likely has the Delibird help him carry a few small things when his pockets are jammed. |
 【Tropius】
[Fourth] TroyThe fruit that Tropius grows is one of his favorite foods to eat! He's probably happy how he managed to get a Tropius as his own and befriend, and he most especially enjoys flying everywhere with him. Troy is an adventurous and curious Pokemon, and is most likely the Pokemon that will stubbornly leave his ball. Delilah often tries to pick the fruits off of Troy's neck and keep it in her bag to give to the Professor later. However, Troy stubborn character refuses and shakes the Delibird off so he can let the Fin pick the fruits off himself. |
 【Lapras】
[Fifth] LappiLapras has been a longtime companion for the Professor, whom his daughter named her Lappi while she was a toddler. Of course, Lapras is quite useful when the Professor needs to journey on water, but he loves Lappi's gentle nature the most. Fin does enjoy relaxing on waters, hence enjoys lazing around on her back. Lappi gets along quite well with Troy, which they spend time together whenever Professor takes them out of their pokeballs. |
 【Shuckle】
[Sixth] BabyFor some reason P.W. fell in love with this odd creature peeking out of his little hole, and thus he believed that it should be protected at all times. The Professor preferably likes to keep Shuckle in his arms and watch him peek out of his shell. However, overtime his daughter has been teaching him a couple of moves that are quite dangerous throughout his journey (ex. Rockslide, Earthquake, Smackdown, etc.) Sometimes there are times where Shuckle is secretly the one defending the Professor whenever things goes awry. |
Notes
A Professor who used to spend his whole life being a wandering nomad to discover new areas and habitats for other professors to conduct research on. It's likely that Fin specializes in Pokemon and habitats like Professor Birch but he seemed more focused on the adventure of new discoveries and territories that isn't found in the data files.
However, the constant traveling has become limited due to his age, therefore decided to settle down a little bit - now Professor P.W. has a place to come home to in the Kalos region, with his growing child that he simply adores. But even having a home doesn't stop him from leaving the lab. Fin is still constantly moving from city to city, and perhaps to another region! He simply cannot be roaming out way too far from anywhere familiar.
- Finnigen is a sometimes a clumsy and careless man. However, he's more gentle and kind than he is... unreliable(?). He relies on his Pokemon quite greatly on everyday things:
> Always loses his keys, Klefki helps the professor and holds all of his keys. ...Yet the Professor sometimes loses Klefki also.
> Venturing around a lot could get him lost as he doesn't have any way of using some sort of GPS. He prefers to use the classic paper map and Probopass is there as his compass.
> Professor PW often forgets his meal. Thankfully his Delibird holds a bunch of snacks for him and the rest of the squad. - Has a daughter who is pursuing to become a Pokemon Trainer. In her teens and almost a young adult. She named a good few of her father's pokemon when she was a child. His wife died very early.
> Secretly taught his Shuckle very powerful moves.
> His daughter owns a Lickitung. And his wife's pokemon is a Lickilicky and often spends most of his time around the lab and their house outside of his pokeball. - One could rarely find the Professor in his office of lab. However, he always leaves his number lying around as he has a phone with him all the time.
> Usually comes over instantly whenever he is requested. Anywhere and almost everywhere. - Has a fear of Cocoon Pokemon. Utterly afraid of Silcoon and Cascoon. Sometimes Spiders.
- Has tried to refrain from wandering around haunted places or areas filled with Ghost-types.
Important
- This is an old Pokemon OC I had, probably around Pokemon Diamond & Pearl. I swear I didn't name him after Professor Willow //sweats
- His Pokemon literally takes care of him
- Shuckle must be protected.
- His Probopass has a handlebar mustache.
