Laertes

Laertes is a confident (occasionally vain) deerssert with a strong sense of morals. Things are very black and white for him, either you are right or you are wrong, and sometimes because of his stubbornness it is impossible for him to see the other side of an argument. But he is a fiercely loyal friend. Once you have his love and trust, he would take a bullet for you. He is prone to dark moods and occasional tantrums, but he apologizes for himself afterward. He has a habit of holding grudges for a long time. 

 

His whole life he has dated female deersserts on and off, and he thought that Avanti would be the one that he spent the rest of his life with. But Avanti cruelly dumped him shortly before he was going to propose that they become mates.

 

He turned to his old friend Zagreus for support. Zagreus was a strange, quiet deerssert who was secretly in love with his friend. As a strange, spur of the moment decision, the two friends decided to be mates. Both have since come to regret the decision, but after the birth of their son Eidolon, they realize it's far too late to put an end to things now. Laertes is an awesome dad, loving and doting and supportive. He tries to keep things together, even when Zagreus is feeling hopeless about the stability of their family.
