Gin is shy and doesn't talk unless he has to. He prefer's not mixing himself in with any crowds really, and simply sitting on the sidelines by himself. This leads to him getting bullied a lot, including by his own family. Gin came from a regular household that was strict on education due to his father being japanese and his mother being american. He was brought up with decent enough morals but never really had much time to explore his hobbies or what he wanted to do with his life once high school came to an end. A part of him has taken an interest in photography out of the enjoyment it brings him to recollect old memories through photo's of his past.

Currently lives in an apartment with a roommate of his. His father having pressured him to finally move out after forcing him to get a job to pay for it. Only due to the fact that he decided he didn't want to go to collage anytime soon and that caused him to grow further apart from his family. He works at a library not too far from where he lives, close enough to walk.

For the most part he's felt as though his life has come to a standstill, and is unsure what he's really missing in it.
