Feather Duster is a pet of Nisha's. He is one of the many experiments of hers. She got his egg from a dealer in the Night Serein black market. A lovely Icewing egg which she corrupted with DNA from a flamingo. Basically merging the two into one as an attempt to make… something new for her entertainment. It worked but had the same side effect as Shard. His intelligence was extremely affected and he isn't capable of speaking at all. He act more like a bird and new hatchling dragonet than a 14 year old Icewing./p>

Nisha, at least, adores him and keeps him around as a pet. She spoils him rotten with treats and toys. Out of her many experiments Feather Duster is one of the lucky one in his treatment AFTER.
