ABOUT
Cassandra is a very independent and self sacrificial person. She doesn't like to receive help from others and wants to prove that she can do things on her own. She has a tendency to be a little abrasive without meaning to, it doesn't help her that she is a very easily irritable person. She often gets overwhelmed with emotions easily and has proven to have a lot of reckless habits. Often arguments will end with her stomping off and then getting into some trouble with daemons. She can act like a very broody brat most of the times too, often acting like a completely entitled little sister when she doesn't get what she wants.
APPEARANCE
Cassandra is a human of average height with a very slender and androgynous body type. She is very flat chested (and often gets teased for it). She has three notable beauty marks on her face, one above her left upper lip, one underneath her right eye, and one underneath her left eye. She also has various scars adorned on her face from training accidents. The two most visible scars are the one across her nose and then the one underneath her left eye as semi continuent of the first scar.
When not in her Kingsglaive garb she is often found wearing loose fitting clothes, mostly baggy pants and tank tops. She doesn't really bother with fashion too much unless its necessary or a hindrance to her fighting style.
During Altissia her self-sacrificial tendencies sprung into action as she leaped to protect Lunafreya from injuries, thus resulting in getting her arm severely injured enough to have to amputate it. She then had to get a replacement arm that was crafted by both Cindy's mechanic skills and Cassandra's limited robotics knowledge. She often in her spare time tinkers with it to make sure its up to par because it often enables her recklessness even more knowing that her new limb is somewhat replaceable.
STORY
When Cassandra was younger her family was barely around. She didn't have very many friends growing up and didn't feel like she had many options other than to enlist in the Kingsglaive for her future. She felt like she didn't really have a choice regardless, because serving for the good of the King was better than rotting around. While in training to be a Kingsglaive, she often had run-ins with Noctis and his entourage in the training areas. She got to know them slowly and soon found herself integrating into the group. Well integrating as best as she could, she often had to run lookout shifts and go on missions so she didn't get to spend that much time with them, but the training parts were enjoyable. Gladio often humored her in sparring matches.
PRE-ALTISSIA
Cassandra was a Kingsglaive member selected by King Regis to join Prince Noctis on his journey towards his arranged marriage. Not Knowing that the fall of Insomnia was going to happen, she agreed and began to travel alongside of the group. Ignis ends up chastising her a lot because she often doesn't put too much thought into strategy and springs into action. Thus he insisted on barring her from being a part of any stealth missions.
POST-ALTISSIA
After the aftermath of Altissia's destruction by Leviathan, Cassandra had to get transported to a hospital to get her injuries checked on. Once she had awoken after the amputation surgery she required, the entire group of boys were already on edge and quarreling. She got into a pretty nasty argument with Gladio that led into her just quitting being part of the group for a while (Enter: Episode Cassandra). She meets back up with the group once she hears about Prompto ending up in Zegnatus Keep. But just in Cassandra fashion, she ends up getting separated from everyone else while traversing through the area.
TEN YEARS LATER
Cassandra's appearance changes a little drastically in the ten years that pass. She self isolates from the group after feeling guilty and tries to keep her distance up until the King Noctis's return. Instead of it being a personal grudge against everyone it was more just her being to embarassed to show her face. As part of her appearance change she decides to chop off a good portion of her hair because it kept getting in the way when she was fighting. She routinely returns to Hammerhead to have service checks on her replacement arm by Cindy.
EPISODE CASSANDRA
Episode Cassandra focuses on her injury and the process she had to go through to recover. The events in Altissia lead to her having countless nightmares and even PTSD from dealing with Ardyn and phantom pains. It mostly deals with the mental battle of Ardyn haunting her thoughts and her insecurities over the events.
RELATIONSHIPS
NOCTIS LUCIS CAELUM
Cassandra knew Noctis when they were both younger, but she never interacted with him much until they had a couple of run-ins durings training. She harbored a minor crush on him when they were younger, but has since tried to push it down because he's engaged to Lunafreya. Other than that, since she was employed as an extra bodyguard for Noctis, she sometimes she snaps at him when he puts himself in the way of danger. It leads to a few heated arguments because he thinks she's babying him.
IGNIS SCIENTIA
Cassandra and Ignis have been in contact for a while, ever since she was told that she'd be watching over Noctis. They typically just interact very cordially to each other, because Ignis intimidates the hell out of Cassandra. She feels like he's so much smarter than her she might as well just say nothing so she doesn't fuck it up.
GLADIOLUS AMICITIA
Gladio and Cassandra are known to clash at times, but she respects him enough to concede to his judgement most of the times. He's the one who tells it to her straight to the point without any bullshit. That being said, Cassandra often acts like a brat around him which warrants more arguing but they both view it as like a sibling rivalry.
PROMPTO ARGENTUM
Cassandra gets along best with Prompto, he was very quick to attempt to be friends with her and succeeded. She finds him very endearing and entertaining and she secretly keeps a close eye on him in case he gets into any trouble. She has fleeting feelings for him but chooses not to act on them because it would be unprofessional and mess with the group dynamic a lot.
CINDY AURUM
Before the fall of Altissia, Cassandra and Cindy didn't interact much often unless discussing business. They would interact very cordially and Cassandra would run the occasional errand for her. After the fall of Altissia, Cassandra approached Cindy about the idea of building a robotic arm for herself to replace her lost arm. It was an entire learning process for the both of them, something that was not quite fully in either's wheelhouse, but eventually they managed to pull through and build something that functioned. Often after, Cassandra shows up to Hammerhead for check-ins or enhancements to her arm.
