"Middle: 'Chimeric'

The most social, or socially tolerant, of the three, accepting some level of handling and making sounds in attempts to communicate feelings or ideas. Their nature is fickle however and something that amused them a moment ago may quickly be viciously swatted at or bitten. They are approaching the size of a pony and while their growth has finally slowed significantly, it has not stopped. When trying to express themselves or experiencing strong moods, light filters out between the plates on their back half."
